Mr. Melvin H. Ashcraft, “Mel”, 77, of Atlanta died Saturday the 6th of April, 2013. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Gail Ashcraft; daughters and sons-in-law, Adele and Dave McKinney, Andrea and Jeff Womble; 3 grandchildren, Charisma, Jake, and Ben; sister, Gwen Harshbarger; and mother-in-law, Hazel Cochran. Funeral services will be held Tuesday the 9th of April at two o’clock at Patterson’s Arlington Chapel with Elder William J. Long officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers that memorial contributions be made to North Atlanta Church of Christ, 5676 Roberts Drive, Dunwoody, GA 30338.
