Michael John “Skillet” Shilling, 29, of Marietta, died July 27, 2016. Mr. Shilling was a graduate from Walton High School and Georgia State University. Skillet was the most Righteous Righteousness in Righteous Town! He is survived by his mother, Eileen Sheppard (Stan Sheppard); father, John Shilling; step-mother, Kelle Coggins (Brent Daniel); sister, Maggie Venable; brother, Charlie Shilling; and maternal grandfather, Thomas Brennan. A memorial service celebrating Skillet’s life will be Sunday, July 31, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd., NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
