

Mrs. Nancy Lewis Montet died on Thursday, the 21st of August 2014. She was born in Danville, VA to Jean Reed and Thomas L. Lewis. Nancy moved to Atlanta when she was a year old. She graduated from North Fulton High School and received her AB degree from Wesleyan College in Macon. Nancy was a member of the Cottage Garden Club and was an avid bridge player. She was a member of the American Contract Bridge League and had achieved the rank of Silver Life Master. Nancy is survived by her dearly loved family including her husband of 61 years, N. Forrest Montet; daughter, Vicki Montet; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Kristin Montet; grandchildren, Jordan and Forrest Montet; sisters, Jeanette Lewis McLain, Grace Lewis Humphreys; and nieces and nephews. Services celebrating Nancy’s life will be held on Tuesday, the 26th of August at half past twelve o’clock at Patterson’s Arlington Chapel with Reverend Dr. G. Gil Watson officiating. Prior to the service the family will gather for a private interment at Arlington Memorial Park.
