Pamela Williams Willis was born December 4, 1941 in Atlanta, Georgia. She died on Saturday, September 7 at the age of 82. She was the daughter of Bessie Gilmer Williams and Leon T. Williams of Atlanta. Mrs. Willis graduated in 1959 from North Fulton High School and attended Emory University before leaving to marry love of her life, the late McDonald Willis of Atlanta. Mrs. Willis and her husband resided in Atlanta, Carrollton, Madison and finally spent the majority of their married live in their lovingly preserved “Frogmore,” a rambling Victorian farmhouse in Waleska, Georgia.
She is survived by her daughters Pamela Candace Willis and Rachael Willis Young, and her most beloved granddaughter Margaret “Molly” Bush.
A private family burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements made by H. M. Patterson & Son- Arlington Chapel, Sandy Springs. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the William Bremen Jewish Home. The family would like to express its appreciation to the staff of Berman Commons and the William Bremen Jewish Home and Weinstein Hospice and the angels on earth who are the caregivers and professionals at those facilities.
