This was my wedding day January 21,1989. Patrick was my baby.
I was his nanny from the day he came home from the hospital . The fondest of all the memories I remember is when the preacher asked that too familiar question “is anyone here..,,,,,,,”
Patrick in his sweet 4year old voice said
“That’s my Pat” those three words will forever be remembered. I loved this child and still do. 
My deepest condolences to his Dad Buddy Shaw and the rest of the Shaw family. We love 💕 you dearly and will keep you in our prayers.

Patrick loved life and brought joy to anyone around him.  He was truly a light.  He had the beautiful gift of accepting life on life’s terms.  He was such a talented musician and cinematographer.  I’m grateful for sharing the time I had with Patrick enjoying his favorite things, the river, lake and grilling.

Patrick has this presence that was calming and energetic at the same time. You can’t teach his ability to bring the best people together with his soothing nature and amazing laugh. You always left a day or evening with a smile that couldn’t be coached and wouldn’t leave your face or your soul - thanks to him. There was never a plan or agenda, just a born desire to bring love and laughter to anyone lucky enough to be in his galaxy. I know he’s not just in whatever we define as the best place but in his giggly and happy way, he has attached a piece of his amazing, fantastic self, with anyone who had the privilege to spend time with him.

Patrick was undoubtably one of my best friends, who I had the pleasure of knowing well from 2006-2024. Something I told him recently was "out of everyone I know, you are one of the few people who has always done me right". That's how I will always remember him, he was a force for good. Last month Patrick made my bachelor party extra special with his signature positive energy and contagious laughter, which helped make it be one of the best times I've ever had. He was a kind, funny, smart, and passionate person who lived life to the fullest, and always tried to bring out the best in others as well. He truly was a great guy who I admired and loved to be around, and will miss tremendously.

Buddy, Jeff, Kelly, and Michael, please accept my deepest condolences here as I'll be out of the country for my honeymoon during the memorial service this Friday, otherwise I would absolutely be there.

To Buddy and his family.  Caroline and me were deeply saddened to learn of Patrick's passing. His kindness and gentleness will always remain in our hearts.  We send you courage and energy to get through this extremely sad and difficult time. Our deepest thoughts are with you. Sincere condolences.

Patrick and I sang together in the PC Jazz Combo at Presbyterian College in 2006. He was so talented and kind. I have great memories of us performing together that I will always cherish. I had two opportunities to see him in the last year, and it was wonderful to reconnect with him. He was so funny and a great story-teller. I am so grateful what we were able to catch up recently. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones. I’m so sorry for your loss and I am praying for you all in this difficult time.

Patrick Shaw was incredible indeed. 
We did this together in music and incredible potential for growth. My son Isaiah and him did a masterpiece music together. I shall miss him terribly..I wanted to help him with his lifetime passion of creativity...

As every great adventure, it begins by not planning it … 

Spring of 2021, I moved to a Town home at the Chattahoche river and was my first time in a community that by my surprise, I was getting to know what it is to have and deal with a neighbor…. 3 weeks after I moved in, an over smiling looking white boy say hello to me and stated that he will be my new neighbor, what he did not know ( and I ) was the amazing story that we will both live together.  From partying on a Monday night on our back deck's to telling our self our deepest thoughts, from sharing Happy moments to crying on each other shoulders, there is not one moment I regret while you where with us. 

To many tears had beed given, tears that you don’t want me to give you, as I know that you will like me to honor your memory by living life … sorry brother, life never prepare me for this, but I promise you that I will worked out. 

Thank you for saying hello to me at the river and showing me that the life is always worth to live … See you one day Amigo.

Patrick and I were blessed to connect. Yes yes our connection is a blessing. Patrick and I worked on a record called Prepare AKA my Darling for over a year. We’re were supposed to put it out, but then I fell into an accident and ended up in a comma and ICU. That was back in June and July. Patrick visited me at the doctors. As I was laying in bed he said something like this to me. Za I made a AI video for our song and once your better we’re going to put it out! 
I was ecstatic about the news put even more ecstatic that he came and visited me. Patrick was always thrilled and had a smile on his face. I was very thrilled to continue to collaborate and to give the world our music.  My mom, my love, and Patrick have the same birthday. So every year I’m gifted to celebrate them I will also be celebrating Patrick. Patrick was loved by tons, his heart shined bright and his love was strong in all places. He face timed me on birthday which was the 19th of December and that’s the last we spoke. He was smiling and excited because he was going to Vegas for the first time. I love Patrick truly and thank God for our connection and love. As I recover from my Brain Injury we will make sure the song and video will be gifted to the world. God bless you Pat not only you but your whole family. I love you and thank you for being great. I love you. ❤️❤️❤️

Patrick was a groomsman in my son, Jordan’s wedding last March. I will remember him for his demonstrable kindness and talent. We are all devastated by his loss and want to express our deepest condolences.

Here's the thing, PShaw. 

When we met I was drawn to your open compassion, acceptance and invitations of all the things. Outdoors, Atlanta Braves and even Arbitrage. Finding new ways to view the world and experience all of its offerings without a care of credence, color, or consequences; And that's just it. No one else experienced the world as you. Beautifully, and In the best way possible - no one else ever will. I will forever miss our in-person adventures. Endlessly. Your opening of my eyes to alternate views and possibilities, and always doing so with passion and kindness for others. I empathize with your ability to straddle and stage worlds, both digital and spiritual, and always have an appropriate acoustic soundtrack to accompany.

Patrick was the type of person to light up a room - instantly radiated the best energy. But even beyond his charisma, he was a genuinely good person who also wanted good for others. He is greatly missed.

Patrick is survived by his father Ross Campbell Shaw, Jr., his three brothers and sister-in-laws, Jeff Landon Shaw and wife Jennifer, and Warren Kelly Shaw and wife Kelley, both of Atlanta; and Michael Ross Shaw and wife Erin, of Savannah; nieces and nephews Maggie Shaw Bohrer and husband Zach Bohrer, Allison Shaw, Hunter Shaw, Campbell Shaw, Landon Shaw, Ross Shaw and Blake Shaw. Patrick is predeceased by his loving mother, Luise “Mimi” Meredith Allison Shaw.
