Paul Nathaniel Kalish, 82, of Alpharetta died Tuesday, the 3rd of September, 2013. Paul was the son of the late Ida Drucker and Joseph Kalish and the brother of Arline Sterling Norman. As a young man Paul was an avid musician who played the clarinet and saxophone. Paul also loved to paint with watercolors and oil especially pictures of ships, sail boats, and the sea. In his later years Paul enjoyed retirement at the Cohen Home, not missing any social events or activities. Paul adored his four sisters as well as his brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews and they adored him. He will be forever remembered as a kind and gentle man who was loved by all who knew him. Surviving are his sisters and brothers-in-law, Bruceyne and Ronald Lando, Jackie and Manny Gladstone, Pearl Teper; and eleven loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday, the 8th of September at two o’clock at Arlington Memorial Park with Rabbi Michael Bernstein of Temple Gersher L’ Torah officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cohen Home, 10485 Jones Bridge Road, Johns Creek, GA 30022 in memory of Paul.
