I will miss Ba Ngoai’s warm and comforting presence. Her silly jokes and sense of humor. I will always remember her calling Conrad “ bắp đỏ.” I know that my passion for sewing came from watching her on her sewing machine for many years. I cherish all the fun memories of her at the bookstore in Atlanta. I love you Ba Ngoai and hope you are at Peace.

When I reflect on all that my grandma has overcome in her life, I am awestruck by her unwavering love and strength. Being her grandchild is the greatest honor of my life. I am proud to call her Bà Ngoại. You will be greatly missed.

I can still see so clearly Ba Ngoai sweeping the garage when I would come over to play at her house when we lived across the street from her in Morrow, GA. She was always gardening outside and had the nicest yard in the cul-de-sac. Every season her front and back yard was vibrant and full of life, just like her. Enjoy your paradise of flowers and rest in peace Ba Ngoai.

This is not what she was making here, but my favorite was her banh tet chuoi! It was usually a family affair to make them and there were always many stories, laughs, and love shared throughout the process. It's one of my favorite memories of hanging out with Ba Ngoai and the family at her house in Morrow, GA.

Mom, you had sacrificed so much for all of us.  It’s time for you to rest now.  We love and miss you so much already! Rest in Peace!

My grandmother was always there for me, I remember coming home from school to her house and she would always make sure I was fed and taken care of until my Mom got off work.  I will also remember all the times watching Hong Kong action videos at her house after school. There was a story that my mother told me when I was a baby and I got very ill, she took me and rushed me to the hospital in Vietnam to make sure I was ok. She supported me throughout my life and even my interest in Vietnamese music! She always wanted to make sure I made good decisions and treated people well with respect.

I was fortunate to have my grandmother be there for my wedding in 2016. I will always remember what she said to me in the car on the way. She said "Do whatever makes you happy, and don't worry about what other people think" in vietnamese of course!

We are very sad that Ba Co is gone and will miss her dearly. All the pillows she has sewn for us will be forever cherished. We will miss her playfulness and laugh. Rest in Peace.
