

Robert Warren Nichols, 51, of Atlanta died on Thursday February 6th 2014. Rob was born in Raleigh, North Carolina. He was a graduate of Druid Hills High School class of 1981. He attended Young Harris College and graduated from Georgia Southern University. Rob started his career in commercial construction with Trammel Crow. He rose quickly through the ranks, becoming a well-known leader in his field; running all construction out of Peachtree Center for several companies for over twelve years. He was currently Senior Construction Manager for Parkway Properties. Rob was an avid sportsman and world traveler. He was a loving family man and known far and wide as a true-blue and loyal friend. Rob lived life to the fullest. His sense of humor, charisma and pure heart made him someone that everyone loved to be around. Rob was selfless, always going the extra mile to help anyone in need. Outside of work, Rob attended Buckhead Church and was involved in a married couple’s small group. He volunteered his expertise to the North Harbor Neighborhood Association, heading up the reconstruction of the clubhouse and pool. He was a devoted and hands-on father to his son, Anthony and a wonderful husband to his wife, Paris. Rob was preceded by his mother Pat Nichols. Surviving are his wife of 9 years Paris Nichols and his beautiful son Anthony Colvin Nichols, his father Bill Nichols and step-mother Ann Wallace Nichols, his sister Deone Nichols, and brothers Bill Nichols Jr, Chuck Nichols, Tom Nichols and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be conducted Thursday February 20th at 11:00 am at Buckhead Church in Atlanta.
In lieu of flowers, the family of Rob Nichols would welcome contributions to Anthony Nichols' Educational Savings Plan.
