Rolf William Pearson, age 80, of Norcross, GA passed away on Saturday May 25, 2019 from complications of COPD. He was born Dec 21, 1938 in Weehawken, NJ. A son of first generation Swedish immigrants, Harry and Ellen Ahlgren. His father passed away very early in his life. His Mother remarried later in life to Herbert Pearson who adopted him to receive his name while he was a young boy.
Rolf served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard during the late 50’s and early 60’s. He was a Carpenter & Construction Superintendent by trade and was an avid Golfer, a hobby he enjoyed immensely.
Surviving are his sons Randall Pearson & Todd Eric Pearson with his wife Eileen Pearson and their 2 children, Todd “Eric” Pearson, Jr. and Gabrielle Pearson with his Great Granddaughter Everly Rose Shepard. Also surviving are his step daughter Donna Pearson and step brother Herbie Pearson. He was proceeded in death by his step sister Marion Myers, step son Kregg Pearson and the mother of his children Elaine Kranz.
A memorial service will be held at the H.M. Patterson & Son - Arlington Chapel in Sandy Springs Ga. on Saturday June 1st @ 11:00 AM with a reception after the service. A private family entombment will be held at Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery, Sandy Springs, Ga. In the Sunrise Chapel Mausoleum immediately following the reception.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Epilepsy Foundation, Ga. so that maybe a cure for epilepsy can be found during his son, Randall Pearson’s lifetime.
