Russ attended O’Keefe High School and DeKalb Community College. He had a career in IT with Coca-Cola, Federal Reserve and Georgia Tech.
He had many interests including photography, gardening, technology, woodworking and studying the Bible.
Russ was married to the love of his life, Connie. They met in kindergarten at Home Park School. On his first day of school, Russ came home and told his mother he met his future wife. Russ and Connie traveled around the world always returning to Atlanta. They recently celebrated their 52nd anniversary.
Russ was kind, humble, funny, smart and loved the Lord. He loved his family very much and enjoyed family get togethers.
Russ is survived by his wife, Connie, sister, Robin Rowland and niece Allison Hendrickson and many other extended family. He is predeceased by his mother, June Campbell.
