Solbert L. Barth, 79, of Atlanta passed away peacefully in the home he shared with his beloved wife Mollie on Saturday, the 28th of May 2016. Sol was born in Youngstown, Ohio on the 6th of May 1937 the youngest of 5 siblings to Joseph and Thelma Barth. He was a graduate of Youngstown University and Ohio State University. Sol was the former CFO of MARTA and METRO in Houston, TX. He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his wife, Mollie of 48 years; sisters, Phyllis and Pearl; 13 nieces and nephews and many, many beloved friends. Graveside services will be conducted today, Sunday the 29th of May at three o’clock in the afternoon at Arlington memorial Park with Cantor Donna Faye Marcus officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Weinstein Hospice, 3150 Howell Mill Road NW, Atlanta, GA 30327. .
