Spiridon Hanna

Spiridon Shahade Hanna, 86, of Roswell, GA, fell asleep in the Lord on September 2, 2017. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 8, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at St. John Chrysostom Melkite Catholic Church, 1428 Ponce de Leon Ave., N.E., Atlanta, GA 30307. A memorial Trisaghion Service for the Deceased will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the church. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 9, at 12:00 p.m. at St. John Chrysostom Melkite Catholic Church, immediately followed by interment at Westview Cemetery, 1680 Westview Dr SW, Atlanta, GA 30310. A mercy meal will be offered at the church after the interment. Spiridon was born in Mansoura, Lebanon on August 15, 1931. He was educated in Lebanon where he became a Master tailor having his own tailor shop. He and his family immigrated to the United States in 1967. Spiridon was married to Rouviette (Jebaile) on June 26, 1955; they were married 61 years. Spiridon owned and operated his own business called Spiro’s Custom Designs of Roswell where he created custom clothing designs for many men, women and clergy of the Atlanta area since relocating there in 1988 with his family. He moved from Akron, Ohio where he also tailored and subsequently had a business of his own as well. He suited up many executives of the Atlanta/Roswell areas in the finest suits/clothing with the best quality custom work. He enjoyed working in the yard and gardening, his own fish pond, people, fun times, music, watching TV, eating good food and spending time with his friends and family. Spiridon is survived by his five children, Mirna Raya of Queen Creek, AZ and her husband Joseph, Antoine Hanna of Savannah, GA and his wife Karen, Gladys Hanna of Sacramento, CA; Hanan Steurer of Louisville, KY and her husband Brian; Elie Hanna of Milton, GA and his wife Dzovag; and 10 beloved grandchildren: Ryan, Sean, Brooke, Ashley, Sarah, Jordan, Iris, Lillian, Taleen, and Bryce. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shahade Hanna and Hanie (Haddad); his daughter, Hanan Hanna, and 10 siblings: Albert, Elias, Phillip, Hazel, Adele, Marie, Matil Samia, Elias Samia, Adele Samia, Naif Samia.
