

Born in Oak Ridge, Tenn. – and a resident of Metro-Atlanta since the age of two – Latimer married James Larry Latimer and raised two children, James Barton Latimer and Erin (Latimer) Meadows in Marietta.
Latimer had an early career with Holiday Inn corporate and stepped away from that career to give herself fully to raising her family and volunteering in her community.
Latimer was known as a supportive wife, smitten mother and completely doting grandmother. She had a gift for listening, laughing and loving those around her. She will be greatly missed by her surviving family members: Bart Latimer (son) and Keri Latimer (daughter-in-law); Erin Meadows (daughter) and Chris Meadows (son-in-law); Stephanie Latimer (daughter-in-law); Steve Bowling (brother); and Brandon Latimer, Alex Conkwright, and Elizabeth Mae Latimer (grandchildren).
Latimer is preceded in death by her husband, Larry, parents and brother, George.
Memorial services celebrating her life will be conducted on Sunday the 10th of April at two o’clock in the afternoon at Patterson’s Arlington Chapel. Inurnment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family Sunday afternoon from one o’clock until the hour of service at H. M. Patterson & Son Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road, NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
