William D. “Bill” Stevens, 79, of East Point, died March 10, 2017. Mr. Stevens served in the Marine Corps during The Korean Conflict. During his professional career he enjoyed 56 years with Delta Airlines. Bill was also an avid fisherman and enjoyed traveling. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Deena Stevens and son, Brad Stevens. He is survived by his wife, Myrna Bailey; daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Danny Yates; daughter-in-law, Nancy Stevens; grandchildren, Leslie Babcock, Natalie Lenderman, Zachary Yates, Ryan Stevens; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Jeanette McCullough; and brother, Jack Stevens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Childrens’s Healthcare of Atlanta. A memorial service will be Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 11 o’clock at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd., NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
