Barbara was born on August 26th 1953 in San Antonio, Texas to John O`Neill and Barbara Bresden. She had seven other siblings John, Rolanda, Lawrence, Charles, Rosabelle, David, and James. She grew up traveling with the carnival which brought her to Florida where she married David Scott Sr. in 1970 and they divorced in 1979. She had two children Tamara Scott Pettis and Jonathan Palmer. She raised altogether five children including Bonnie Scott Sweat, David Scott Jr, and John Scott. She had seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Barbara retired from Siemens in 2013 where she worked more than 30 years and retired as an SAP specialist manager. She was a very independent and strong-willed person who always put others first. She had a passion for horses which she shared with her daughter Tammi. She also survived the loss of her youngest son Jonathan Palmer on May 16th, 1996. She was a kind God-fearing woman that will forever be missed.
