

He was born in Kingston Jamaica on June 15, 1925. He was the son of Willoughby Marshall and Doris Perkins. He was educated in a school run by the Quakers in Portland, Jamaica and worked in the parish of St Mary, Jamaica where he met his wife Mavis Hussey. They were married in Richmond St Mary, Jamaica WI in 1949 and raised 6 children. They were married for 60 years before she passed in 2009.
Clinton worked for the Ministry of Agriculture and Lands in Jamaica in Orange River St Mary, Ewarton St Catherine and Grove Place Manchester before migrating to the United States in 1969. He then joined the Manufacturers Hanover Trust Bank later merged into JPMorgan Chase Bank from which he retired. He was a most generous, unselfish family-oriented spirit who was passionate about his family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Gene, Brenda, Shirley, Sonia, Trudy, and Carlene (Meg); grandchildren, Craig Marshall, Christopher Chung, Tiffany Dyer, Christopher Dyer, Nicholas Shirley, Danika Shirley, Rudolphe Germain, Janelle Germain, Shari Walsh and Natasha Walsh, and great grandchildren, Chloe Shirley, Summer Shirley, Devon Staat, Blake Staat, and Isabel Chung.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Karl Payne.
Services will be held at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, 5000 County Rd 46A, Sanford, FL 32771 on Saturday September 3rd, viewing will be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 PM. Interment immediately following the service in Oaklawn Cemetery.
