Deborah Ann Taylor, 71, of DeLand, FL went to be with the Lord on October 25, 2021 after a 4-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Debi was born June 21, 1950 in Pittsburgh PA, daughter of William and Ida May Wild. She was raised in Detroit, MI with siblings Lee, George, Tom and Paul. She moved to the Orlando area in 1975. Debi was a teacher in Seminole County for over 20 years and later the owner of Taylor Made Window Fashions. She is survived by her husband Bruce, three children Keri Shahinian (Chris Black), Ben Shahinian (Kelly) and Jill Blush (Jim) along with five grandchildren Jade, Cameron, Cassidy, Owen and Beau.
Debi was a skilled crafter of beautiful window treatments who loved interior design and home improvement projects. She was a proud alumna of the University of Central Florida and a member of the Alpha Delta Kappa sorority. A devout Christian, she loved watching Bruce play guitar at church services. She was a self-proclaimed “book nerd”, who was happiest with a book in her hand, sitting on the beach, surrounded by her loved ones (especially her grandchildren).
A memorial service is being held Saturday, November 6th, 11:00 at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Funeral Home 5000 CR 46A Sanford, FL 32771.
