Our 14-year-old daughter, Emily became an Angel on 7/3/22. She was our "Beautiful Warrior Princess" and our "Golden Child." Emily valiantly battled this osteosarcoma (bone cancer) that spread to her lungs, for 2 years almost to the day (diagnosed with cancer on 7/2/20 and passed away on 7/3/22).
She loved family time, swimming, driving her golf cart, music, travel, nature, cooking, painting, Disney, movies, and most of all, her 2 Boston Terriers (Bruce & Greta). Emily was also passionate about her daily adventures, always asking "what are we going to do today?" She had plans for college, sky diving, traveling, exploring, embracing new challenges, and discovering new experiences. Emily took advantage of every moment in her life and encouraged others to do the same.
Emily had the most amazing smile, and she was also the most compassionate person you would ever meet. To know her, was to love her. Emily was kind to everyone she met and a fierce protector of everybody, every animal, every plant, you name it. Emily's heart was genuine, you can feel her love simply by being in her presence.
Emily also loved to produce, choreograph, rehearse, and perform musical concerts for us. We’ll miss her shows, jokes, laughter, joy, paintings, travel plans, stories, wise advice, soft and calming words of hope, and loving hugs.
Emily was truly one of a kind and will live on in our hearts forever.
Thank you for joining us to celebrate Emily's Extraordinary Life.
