

He was born in Miami Florida on July 7, 1953. George graduated from Seminole High School and received his Associate of Arts degree while pursuing his bachelor’s degree from Northwood Institute in Dearborn, Michigan.
The son of an Automobile Dealer, George enjoyed a 42 + year career in Automotive Sales and Management. He worked for numerous dealers throughout Orlando and St Augustine Florida representing Ford, GM, Toyota, Nissan and other Independent Operators. George excelled in Car Sales and enjoyed the camaraderie and respect from co-workers and ownership. George had a wealth of knowledge and wisdom, often mentoring new sales associates.
George also had a passion for helping others, particularly during times of need. He relished his loyal friends and family, demonstrating his willingness to be counted upon. ‘Known for his sharp rhetoric and Witt, although his actions speak loudly for compassion and selflessness to others. Even during the most difficult times of his illnesses, he showed great courage and care for others. A wonderful trait that was often taken for granted because he did it so often. He never boasted or cared to explain himself.
He loved all styles of music, especially classic Jazz. His repertoire was immense and could easily name favorite Artists and Classic albums. He couldn’t wait for the big three, The Kentucky Derby, The Preakness Stakes and the Belmont Stakes with his numbers and strategies ready. George was a ferocious Democrat and could debate on any political position or argument. “Take the Pro or Con”, he would say. Lesser known to his friends, in his youth George was a Level 3 Professional surfer representing Surf Shops in Daytona and New Smyrna Beach Florida. You could catch him routinely at the Jetti’s catching big breaks practicing for tournaments. He traveled from Cape Hatteras to Sebastian Inlet up and down the SE Coast competing against the great surfing names at that time. A natural athlete, he excelled in Baseball and Football during his childhood but much to his parent’s chagrin, he gravitated to Surfing.
George is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Gloria Prosser and half-brother Professor William Prosser.
He is survived by his siblings, John Prosser, Edward Prosser, Michael Prosser and Paul Prosser. His In laws are Cindy Prosser (Mike) and Kirsten Prosser (Edward). His Nephews are Eddie Prosser, Nick Prosser, Michael Prosser Jr., Bert Prosser, Johnny Prosser, Joe Demattio (Cindy).
A graveside service for George will be held Friday, November 15, 2024 at 11am at Oaklawn Park Cemetery, 4991 Co Rd 46A, Lake Mary, FL 32746.
