George C. Scott, 91, of Sanford, FL died on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 of a stroke. He was retired RR & construction. He was born in Columbus, Ohio. George was a member of the Seminole County Museum, a founding member of the Seminole County Historic Museum, Fort Christmas Museum, MT Bottle Club- Deland, Wood Carvers Club- Deltona, Mid-Fla Archaeological Historical Society & Student Museum, and the Central Florida Insulator Club. He is survived by his daughter Robin Johnson and her husband, Robert; grandchildren: Kyle Johnson, Douglas Adams, Angela Adams-Dial, Michael Johnson, and Robert Johnson; and 5 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 12th from 1-3pm with a funeral service at 3:00 at the Baldwin Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel with burial at Oaklawn Park Cemetery.
