Jerry Dunagan

Jerry grew up on a farm in Easton, Minnesota, where he attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic grade school. He graduated from Delavan High School in Delavan, Minnesota in June of 1955. After completing high school, Jerry then graduated from The School of Agriculture from the University of Minnesota in March of 1957.

On May 4th, 1957, Jerry married Mary Jo Harper at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Easton. Together they started their family of three boys and one girl, on farms all across Easton, where Jerry continued his love of working in agriculture. After working for two years in construction, Jerry finally took over the family farm.

In 1965, Jerry and Mary Jo packed up and moved the family to Casselberry, Florida and started working in a horticulture plant nursery. In 1967, Jerry started his 30 year career in Agricultural Chemical Research with Uniroyal Chemical Company. After the kids graduated high school, Jerry and Mary Jo moved to Osteen, Florida July of 1983. Jerry retired January 2nd, 2000. He enjoyed gardening and doing odd projects around the house. One of his favorite pastimes was irritating and spending time with Mary Jo and his children. The two of them also enjoyed going square dancing.

Jerry is predeceased by his parents; sister, Julianna; and his wonderful wife, Mary Jo.

Left to cherish his memory are his children; Scott (Jill), Yolonda, Jeffery, Todd (Cathy); grandchildren, Matthew, Kristin, Nicholas (Tracie), Rebecca, Laura (Brian), Christopher, Bradley, Kari, Jesse, Kelli; great grandchildren, Anthony, Anna, Evan, Caleb, Alexis, Andrew, Ava, Hunter, Camden; with a great great grandchild on the way as well as numerous extended family and friends.
