Joanne Cubbison, of Sanford, FL, 87, passed peacefully on February 22, 2015 with her devoted family by her side. Joanne was born in West Warwick, Rhode Island, to her loving parents Michele and Carmela Lancellotta. Joanne married George Cubbison in 1948 and they remained happily married for 36 years until George’s passing in 1984. She was preceded in death by her sisters Irene Antonelli and Ann Brown and her brothers Michael Lancellotta and John Lancellotta. Joanne is survived by her daughter Janice (David) Richards; her granddaughter Jodi (John) Ashworth; her great-grandson Brent Ashworth; her brother Caesar Lancellotta, and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 11am at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel with a committal service to follow at Oaklawn Cemetery and reception to follow.
