Judith Anne Coates died Thursday, August 20th, at her home, following a battle with chronic illness. Born on September 17, 1946 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Pearl and Robert Beaulieu, Judith enjoyed childhood growing up all over the United States, due to her father’s distinguished Air Force career. Some of her favorite, early memories came from her position as the oldest of four siblings, as they grew up on military bases. After graduating from Waipahu High School, in 1964, Judith reinvented herself by holding various jobs over the years, often taking a leadership role. Married to her husband, George, in 1978 in Trumansburg, New York, Judith was a long time resident of Sanford, Fl, finding pleasure in the company of her family and her two dogs, Zoey and Pepper. Judith is survived by husband, George Coates; mother, Pearl Beaulieu; siblings, Robert Beaulieu, Susan Nelson, and Karen Winkle; children, Richard Ricardo and Kimberly Sanders; grandchildren, Aurora Ricardo, Pearl Ricardo, Samantha Sanders, Ryan Sanders, and Katelyn Sanders, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Beaulieu, Sr. Judith had a lifelong interest in genealogy, making many discoveries while tracing her family’s lineage. It is not surprising that her dedication to family continued into the current generation. She valued integrity, loyalty, compassion, and love, becoming a model of these qualities for her family and friends. Memorial services will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery, 5000 County Road 46A,Sanford, FL 32771,at 10a.m., Saturday, September 5, 2015.
