Judith McMichael Frey

She is survived by her husband, George Frey; her sister Jeanne Wear; her two daughters: Laura LaBonte and Marnie Burkett; her two son in laws Chris and Richard; and her seven grandchildren: Cheyne, Noah, Carlee, Charlie, Scarlett, Meredith and Zac; and two future granddaughters in law Alacoe and McKenzie.

Judy was born on October 28, 1944 in Washington DC to James and Marian McMichael.

She found her passion at Samford University in Music Education and sang in the Acapella Choir all 4 years. That is also where she met her husband George and they spent 59 married years together.

She was a school teacher, a church organist and choir director, real estate agent, insurance office manager and secretary to the director at Siemens telecommunications. She loved being around family and friends and enjoyed cruising vacations with family and friends. She was the driving force in keeping our family outings organized and fun.

from 2:00pm - 5:00pm
