Judith Rebecca Harriett

Judith was preceded in death by her father, mother and sister Joanne Harriett. She is surv ived by her partner of over 40 years Edith Valentine, her sister Barbara Johnson, niece Denise Stevens (Bob Stevens), sister in law Joan Adams and Valentine Clan.

Judith lived her whole life in Sanford, Florida. In the year 1968 Judy and Edith Valentine joined their lives in a life long commitment. Judy worked at Sprague Electronis until her retirement in 1991.

Judy's passions in her life included camping, fishing, singing, playing softball, bingo, reading and a love of the Florida Gators. She is known for her quick wit and directness. Judy had many close friends and neighbors over the years that traveled this road with her bringing joy, stories, food and companionship. She loved her friends and family deeply; she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

The family invites you to join in a celebration of her life with Judy's partner, family and friends on Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel. A small ceremony consisting of family and friends speaking will begin at 2:30pm.

During the last year Vitas Hospice has been a support in the home. Also Visiting Angels and Granny Nannies assisted in providing care to Judy. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the local Vitas in Sanford in Judy's name.
