June Carolyn Miller

She was born on June 18, 1943, in Saltillo, Tennessee and graduated from Cohn High School. She was married in Nashville, Tennessee and had a daughter Jessica soon thereafter. She lived and raised her daughter in several places including Nashville, Tennessee, Vero Beach, Florida and Dayton, Ohio, where she had a job at Miami Valley Hospital for over 20 years. June retired in 2009 and settled in Mount Vernon, Ohio to be near her daughter, and where she enjoyed outdoor gardening, golfing and other activities, and also traveling abroad to places such as England and Israel. She relocated to Sanford, Florida in 2018 where she lived close to her daughter for the remaining years of her retirement.

June was a fun loving, caring and sweet person who found a friend in everyone she met. She loved jazz music, New Orleans, religious history and notable figures from the past such as Abraham Lincoln and Winston Churchill. She was a voracious reader and loved listening to music. She will be missed deeply.

She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Maggie Davis and two brothers.

June is survived by her daughter Jessica (James) Bartee, brothers Don (Linda) Davis and Jack (Reva) Davis.
