Karen Mary Bowles, age 71 passed away on Saturday September 19, 2015 in Knoxville TN. Karen was a retired Pediatric R.N. she loved and enjoyed reading, making jewelry, watching soccer, playing Bridge with the Lake Forest Bridge Club and especially loved making artistic paintings.
Karen is survived by beloved husband Wilbur Bowles of 15 years, son; Christopher William Riske, Daughter; Kathleen (Jake) Jacobson, 2 grandchildren Jillian and Katie. She was preceded in death by her beloved son; James Kevin Riske and Sister Kathy Smith.
There will be a gathering of friends from 2:00p.m.-3p.m. at the Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel in Sanford on Saturday September 26, a Life Celebration Service will follow at 3p.m.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers a donation be made in Karen's name to the American Cancer Society.
