Lauren L. Kemmerer, a loving daughter, sister and aunt, died peacefully in her home after an extended illness. Lauren was born on June 30, 1964 in Corpus Christi, TX to her parents, David W. McLain Sr. of Sanford, FL and Norma Broadbooks, formerly of Russellville, AR. She graduated from high school in Greenwich, CT in 19821. Lauren became a legal assistant in Stroudsberg, PA and then moved to FL, first to Ormond Beach where she worked as an office manager and then to Lake Mary to be near family. She loved the beach and her precious cats, Bob and Arnie. Lauren is survived by her father; her stepfather Roy Broadbooks of Russellville, AR; her two sisters, Karen Chiapetta of Sanford, FL and Sherron McLain of Oakland, CA and her nephews Michael and Christian Chiapetta of Greenwich, CT. She is predeceased by her mother and her brother, David W. McLain, Jr. Lauren will be sorely missed by family and friends alike. Lauren requested to be cremated. She will be interred next to her mother at Grice Cemetery in Gilmer, TX.
