Leona is survived by her children, Debra Priest Dorn (Allen), Joseph Priest (Lynda); grandchildren, Justin Spangler (Katie), Alex Dorn, Todd Dawkins, Amber Dawkins (Eddie), and Thomas J. Farrell IV (Lauren); great-grandchildren, Jordan Spangler, Stephen Murphy, Ashlie Farrell, Charley Farrell, and Brady; siblings, Ella Mae Hauck, Jane Richards (Cecil), Pauline Whaley (Charles), Maggie Dotson, Lenora Butler (Russell), Omar Thurman, Thomas Thoroughman (Margaret), and Alva Thurman (Mary).
Leona is preceded in death by her children, Judy McCleese and Donald McCleese; and brother Charles Thoroughman.
A visitation for Leona will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, FL 32771. A committal service will occur Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Oaklawn Cemetery, 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, FL 32771. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, FL 32771.
