Luciana "Lulu" Yakiera Jenkins

She was born in Orlando, Florida on July 23, 2022 a daughter of Elani Michel of Ridgewood, New Jersey and Chandler Jenkins of Columbus, Georgia. Luciana was born too soon but was a fighter. Through the tubes and needles she knew she had the care and love of her parents, family, and church prayers from The National Tabernacle, and The Hope Church of Orlando. On Sunday, God, in His infinite mercy, stretched his hand to receive little Luciana Yakiera into his heavenly home. She will be deeply missed by her loving parents and family, in their faith, they will be joined together again.

In addition to her parents, Luciana is survived by paternal grandparents; Ya-Ya Lashunda Walton, Pop-Pop Earnest R. Jenkins and Grandma Lynne Jenkins of Columbus, Georgia; maternal grandparents; Glam-ma Renee Michel of Jamaica and Glam-pa Edson Michel of Haiti; paternal great grandmothers, Bettye Walton and Dorothy Jenkins.; Maternal great grandmothers Ileen Channer and Edith Fonfrel; great grandfather Ernest Jenkins; Uncles, Andre Walton, Jr., Ayden Jenkins, Xavier Michel; Aunt, Lauren Jenkins; Godparents, Deja Clarke and Jadarian Carter.

Luciana was preceded in death by great grandfathers, Richard Walton, Errol Channer and Edward Michel.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm, noon, Monday, August 29, 2022 at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Oaklawn Chapel; 5000 County Road 46A; Sanford, Florida with the clergyman, Malcom Waller officiating. The graveside service will be at 1:00 pm after the funeral at the Oaklawn Cemetery.
