Masil was born to Mary and Jim Allen, her upbringing instilled in her a deep sense of compassion and empathy. Throughout her life, she shared her warmth and love with everyone she encountered, touching the hearts of countless individuals. Her laughter was contagious, filling every room with smiles and happiness.
Masil's life was an adventure that took her to various corners of the world. She spent a significant amount of time in Saudi Arabia, where her father worked as a fireman and diligently to recruit students for American colleges.
After completing her education at Walton-Verona High School and Eastern Kentucky University, Masil pursued her passion for teaching. She found her calling as a first-grade teacher at Lake Mary Elementary, where she nurtured young minds with love and patience.
Masil's dedication to education extended beyond the confines of her classroom. She was an active member of the Gamma Gamma Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa, a teaching sorority, where she formed lifelong friendships and contributed her talents to various initiatives. Recently, she was celebrated for an astounding 50 years of service, a testament to her commitment to those she cared for.
Family was at the center of Masil's heart, and her love for her sons, Michael Blythe and Mark Blythe, was immeasurable. She nurtured them with unwavering dedication, instilling in them the same values of kindness and love that she exemplified.
Masil's reunion with her beloved husband, Mack Blythe, in heaven brings solace to those who mourn her loss. Their love was a source of inspiration and strength, and their bond will forever endure in the hearts of all who knew them.
Those who knew Masil knew that she had a zest for life and a few special loves that defined her. She held an adoration for all things Micky Mouse, Elvis Presley, and Coca Cola, even though she remained an avid Pepsi drinker. These passions brought her joy and served as a reminder of the childlike wonder she carried with her.
Above all, Masil will be remembered for her incredible kindness and her ability to connect with others. She possessed a unique gift for turning friends into family, and her love knew no boundaries. The impact she made on the lives of those she touched is immeasurable, and her memory will forever be treasured.
