Michelle was born on November 19, 1957, in Camden, New Jersey, to the late Wilfred Montpelier and Jeanette Antorino. She earned her associate’s degree and devoted her life to caring for others, especially her family. A strong and resilient woman, Michelle faced life’s hardships with determination and grace. Though her life was
not always easy, she stood firm for her three children, teaching them that no matter what, they would always have each other.
Michelle met the love of her life, Scott Harris, over a $10 tip. His persistence won her heart, and together they shared 28 years of love, partnership, and devotion—always taking care of one another. Michelle cared deeply for others, often placing their needs before her own. If she had her last dollar and someone needed it, she would give it without hesitation. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and her constant efforts to keep peace among
those she loved.
She found joy in crocheting, baking, playing farm-feeding video games, watching NCIS: New Orleans and Columbo, and spending time at the beach. She cherished speaking with her children daily, delighted in special surprises from her husband, and made it her mission to ensure that her grandchildren and great-grandchildren
were endlessly loved and spoiled. She adored her dog, Scarlet, and held a deep love for her sisters, their children, and their grandchildren.
Michelle’s greatest joy in life was her family—especially her grandbabies and great-grandbabies, whom she loved more than life itself. Her legacy of selflessness, strength, and unconditional love will live on through all who were blessed to know her.
Michelle is survived by her devoted husband, Scott Harris; her children, Nicole and her children, Julianna and Jorrdan and his wife, Ayah, and their children, JJ and Alexander; Alex and his wife, Linda, and their children, Joshua and Carol; William and his wife, Margaret, and their children, Victoria, William, Samantha, Alexa, Sabrina, Lucas, Madison, Mia, Gage, and LeLe; and Cassandra and her wife, Cherie. She is also survived by her sisters, Renee; Jeannine and her husband, Steve; and Danielle, along with many extended family members and loved ones.
Arrangements are entrusted to Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel and Cemetery, 5000 County Road 46A,
Sanford, Florida 32771.
