I went to work for Mike at Urban Cleaning Contractors in the early 90's. His Work ethic, integrity, kindness and ability to get along with everyone has never ceased to amaze me. He loved life and life loved him...as did everyone who knew him. Mike, you will be sorely missed. The world is darker without you.

I only knew Mike for only 7yrs but we became very close during that time. In fact I considered him to be like a brother to me. He was a kind and gentle person who loved to help and mentor others. We talked a lot and I can tell you he had a great love for his wife Carmen and his children. While he was as man of few words, he projected volumes of wisdom. He will be missed and has left a void in my life. However, I cherish the thought that he lived a full and rewarding life.

Waiting at Grandmas house knowing my big Cuz was in town, I anxiously awaited a red Catty or Black Oldsmobile , I wasn’t sure, you told me once every Man has a forte some a watch or shoes yours was a Car. You told me if I really want to make money you must do what most don’t like. Endless conversations of family, culture , our island and business. Every boy has a superhero, you were mine. You comforted me recently and shared beautiful words. I am sad Cuz , I am going to miss you so much, I told you when Pop recently past you were the “Last of the Mo-ricans” . I will continue the knowledge and pass on our Roots, Raices, as we discussed. You are in a good place now with your Moms smile your pops grin your Sisters laugh, Ray playing percussion for you, Pete’s jokes, Nelson’s little houses and records, I can go on and on because of your talented family generation. You will always be my hero. You all have left behind for me a strength and character that will help me along. Thank you dearly Cuz, you will always be in my heart
