

Richard Kenneth Harbaugh, 77, passed away on March 18, 2015. He arrived into this world on July 19th 1937 in Cumberland, MD to his parents Harry and Secguernie Harbaugh. He graduated from Fort Hill High School in 1955. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, was a Vietnam Veteran and retired as a Master Sergeant. During his time in the military, he graduated from Saint Joseph's University. After his military service, he became an employee at Westinghouse Corporation in Pennsylvania, which later relocated him to Central Florida. He retired from Westinghouse as a senior planner and having a desire to contribute towards his community he volunteered to create and organized the first Teen Court in Seminole County, FL, for first-time juvenile offenders. He became the County's first Teen Court Coordinator, providing many hours of service and dedication to Seminole County for the next 7 years. Surviving him are his devoted, loving wife, Gloria, his 3 children Richard Harbaugh, Jr. (Cheryl), Katherine Prentice (Timothy) and Diana Mills (Chip). He was a loving and caring step-parent to Autum Lopez (Albert), Andre Kapinkin (Chassidy), Patrick Smith (Amanda) and Amanda Mitteff (Eric), all of whom blessed him with 18 grandchildren. Also surviving him are his brothers Carl Harbaugh (Rebecca) and Michael Harbaugh (Sharon) of Frederick, MD and Harry Harbaugh (Margie) of Stephens City, VA.
