She was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 5, 1931. Rosemarie graduated from PS 242 and received an associate’s degree from New York University. She married Frank Anthony Artusa on November 28, 1953.
Rosemarie dedicated her life to caring for others and she always had a love for music, dancing, and playing cards until all hours of the night.
She is survived by her brother, Charles Lauria; her children, Mary Flanagan, Jane Cassels, and Frank G. Artusa; 8 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brother Frank Lauria, her sister Joan Lauria Pisano, her husband, Frank A. Artusa, her son Steven Artusa, and her grandson, Jason Cassels.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 1:30pm, February 24th, at Annunciation Catholic Church.
