Zelma Inez Hebb Warnock, 84, of Osteen, Florida, formerly of Wauchula, Florida, passed away at home September 13, 2022. She was born in Auburndale, Florida on February 16th, 1938. Zelma graduated from Forest Lake Academy and was awarded an ASN from Polk Community College. She was married to Leo Samuel Warnock Jr on March 19th, 1959, and they enjoyed 62 years of marriage. Zelma pursued a career in nursing for Hardee Manor, Hardee Memorial and Home Health Nursing. She was active as home room mother, band mom and chaperone and was very supportive of all her family’s pursuit. Hobbies included sewing, knitting, and crocheting. Zelma was preceded in death by husband Leo, son Randy (Angie), Brothers: Ralph, Bob, Hap, and Sisters: Betty and Alice. She is survived by Brothers: Charlie (Georgia) and Jim (California), and daughter Ihla (Osteen), She was grandmother to six grandchildren: Steven, Stephanie, Lindsey, Jonathon, Jordan, and Madison and eight great-grandchildren: Paige, Jax, Jase, Collins, Harlyn, Liam, Josiah, and Blakely. The service will be held on October 22, 2022 at noon at Real Life Community Church at 3365 Hwy 17 in Bowling Green, Florida 33834. Arrangements will be lovingly placed on Randy and Angie’s graves after the service. The local florist for arrangements is Coopers Florist in Wauchula.
