Clyde Dwan Eaton, passed away peacefully at his home in Santa Ana, CA on May 5th, 2017. The Lord took him home to be with his bride of 68 years. He was 90 years young and lived an amazing life. Clyde was born on September 20, 1926 in Bunger, Texas to James and Essie Eaton. He had 1 older brother, Bert, 2 older sisters, Peggy and Rhoda and 1 younger sister, Jimmie. He met his wife Gracie, in Texas, and they moved to Southern California with Clyde’s brother and sister-in-law for work in early 1950’s. They had called Southern California their home since then. They would go on to have two children, Steven “Leo” and Susan. He served in our United States Air Force, during World War II as an aircraft mechanic. He worked many years in the oil fields and retired from Mobil Oil. He is survived by his daughter Susan, his three granddaughters Stacey, Katie and Jeanine and his 5 great grandchildren Maren, Frank, Matthew, Serina and Sarah. Graveside services will be held at Fairhaven Memorial Park in Santa Ana.
