On September 26, 2016 Consuelo “Connie” Rodriguez Hernandez passed on to be with our Lord and Savior. Connie was born on June 22, 1936 in Mexico to Fidelia Torres and Genaro C. Rodriguez. She was one of five siblings, Cecilia, Genaro, Angelita, and Rodolfo. She lived in Mexico mostly living in the State of Coahuila in the outskirts of El Remolino and Zaragosa during her youth. She soon joined her sister in San Antonio, Texas, and then settled in Santa Ana, California where she married Alberto E. Hernandez. They raised their children in Orange County. She is survived by her husband, her sister Cecilia, her children, Maria Lopez (Ralph Lopez), Connie Marquez (David Marquez), Zoila Hernandez, Alberto J. Hernandez Jr. (Vicky Drapeau), Rudy Hernandez, Kenia Cueto (Victor Cueto), Cesar Hernandez (Aida Guadalupe Gonzalez), Richard Aguilar. She has twelve grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Family and friends will miss her, knowing that one day we will be reunited in Heaven.
