Diane Marie Williamson was born on November 16, 1944, in Akron, Ohio, and on June 22, 2025, she left this earth and stepped into the arms of her Savior. Though our hearts are heavy, we celebrate a life beautifully lived—a life that touched countless others through unwavering love, deep faith, and extraordinary grace.
At the age of 12, Diane and her family moved to Southern California, where a new chapter of her life began. It was there, at an Easter Sunday service where Diane and her Father were invited guests as special worship, that 16-year-old Diane met the love of her life, Paul David Williamson, whose father was the pastor. Just a year later, they were married, beginning a journey of love and devotion that spanned 63 wonderful years.
Together, Diane and Paul built more than a home—they built a legacy. Through faith and determination, they turned humble beginnings into a life full of meaning, laughter, and abundance. Their story is a testament to what is possible when faith and love are the foundation.
Diane was the heart of her family—a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, and a beloved Mimi. She is survived by her husband Paul; their three children, Lorrie (son in law, Garrett), Karin (son in law Eliot), and David (daughter in law Belinda), who carry with them the love, strength, and warmth she so generously gave. Her five grandchildren—David G (wife Dani), Jacob (wife Sarah), Brandon (wife Caelah), Daniel (wife Rebekah), and Zachary—knew her as “Mimi,” a name spoken with joy, respect, and deep affection. Diane was also blessed with four great-grandchildren—Logan, Mathias, River, and Kira—with one more little miracle on the way.
She is also survived by her dear sister, Kathy (brother in law Richard). Welcoming her into heaven are her loving parents, Edward and Dorothy Zuver, and her two brothers, Sonny and Ronnie.
Diane had a rare gift for making a house a home. Her love of decorating and event hosting brought beauty and celebration into every space she touched. But her true brilliance shone in the way she loved—with a quiet strength, a joyful spirit, and a steadfast faith. Her love was the kind that made you feel seen, known, and cherished.
She was our encourager, our comfort, our safe place. She modeled what it meant to be a supportive wife, a loving mother, a generous Mimi, and a loyal friend. Her legacy lives on not only in the family she built, but in the lives she uplifted, the prayers she prayed, and the unwavering faith she lived by.
As we face this day with sorrow, we also cling to hope—the hope that comes from knowing she is now whole and at peace, dancing in Heaven. As Revelation 21:4 reminds us:
“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. And death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore. For the former things have passed away.”
Diane's life was a reflection of God’s love—faithful, radiant, and full of grace. Though we will miss her every day, we rejoice in knowing we will see her again. Until then, her love will live on in each of us.
