Born in Santa Ana, California, Don lived a full and meaningful life. He was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Patricia, a proud father to their three children, Kari, Tom and Scott, and a loving grandfather.
Don was known for his compassion, competence and commitment as an orthorpaedic surgeon, serving his community for 56 years. His contributions to local sports programs, national, state and local medical societies and medical education made him a valuable asset to his profession and his community. He had a passion for family, fishing, hunting, skiing and travel. He loved life, lived it and explored it. What he learned fueled his love of sharing stories. Love was central to who Don was, a big heart.
He will be missed and remembered by the huge community that he touched. A memorial service will be held on November 30, 2024 at 11:00am at the Waverley Chapel, Fairhaven Memorial Park in Santa Ana. Please join us in celebrating Don. He loved a good party.
