Donna Ann Dente

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loved one Donna Ann Dente, who left us peacefully on October 8, 2025. Born on July 25, 1950, in New York to Alfred and Anne Dente. Donna lived a life filled with love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family, friends, and beloved animals. She is lovingly remembered by her cherished family: Paul Dente (brother), Annie Olver, Paula Betz, Vanessa Dente, and Emilie Dente (nieces), Nancy Dente (sister-in-law), and her dear friend Teri VonAchen. Donna's warmth, compassion, and vibrant spirit touched the lives of many, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She spent most of her career with Santa Ana Unified. She was hired into the Santa Ana School District in 1981 and worked there as a Teacher until 1987.

After moving to Moorepark she taught in Oxnard, then moved back and taught in Moreno Valley 1987 -1993

She returned to Santa Ana Unified as a Teacher and Counselor, where she retired in 2015. During retirement she continued working as a substitute until 2022.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Donna's life will be held on October 23, 2025, from 2 PM to 5 PM at the Women’s Club in Orange. Please notify Donna's family by contacting Emilie Dente at (714) 651- 9053 via text or phone with names of those who plan to join us at her celebration of life.

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and share in the remembrance of a remarkable woman. During Donna’s retirement years, volunteering at Priceless Pet Rescue was a highly regarded and cherished part of her life.
