She had Alzheimer's disease for the past 9 years.
Genevieve was a devoted mother, wife, and dedicated employee at the DA office in Orange County- having worked there for over 20 years.
Surviving Genevieve is her brother Robert D. Byram, sister Judy Byram, her children Genevieve Suzanne Ortiz, Robert S. Hopkins and Richard G. Hopkins. Granddaughters- Jaime Walters and Jessica Hopkins, and Grandson Devin T. Ortiz. Step children are Cindy Macleish, Roberta Sims, Susan Stugart and David Cliff.
Genevieve was preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, Richard Harvey Cliff.
