Jose Liberato Montoya

February 4th 1925- December 8th 2018

Jose was born in Santa Rosa, New Mexico.

He grew up with 2 bothers and 3 sisters. At the age

18 he enlisted into the United States Marine Corps.

He served 30 years for our great country. In June 1949

He married the love of his life Edna. They were married

Until the day Edna past away 4 years ago. They had 2

Children. A Son Mickeal, and a daughter Maricela.

He had 4 grand children, Shawn, Monique, Marlena,

And Aaron. He had 3 great grand children Jonathan,

Benjamin, and Mackenzie. Jose loved to read. He loved

History, and geography. He had a love of airplanes and

Jets. He loved to travel. He was all about his family.

Wanted them to be happy. He had good morals, compassion,

He was a kind man. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He touched many. He will be remembered by all.

A funeral mass for Jose will be held Friday, December 21, 2018 from 12:10 PM to 1:00 PM at Holy Family Cathedral, 566 South Glassell Street, Orange, CA 92866.

A committal service will occur Friday, December 21, 2018 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Fairhaven Memorial Park Mortuary, 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92705.
