Judith Kay Larson was born August 13, 1941 to parents Dale and Ramona Newhoff. She was the 4th child of ten children. Her family worked farms throughout the Midwest. Judi attended high school in Denver Colorado. She met her husband Jack Jay Larson in Waterloo, Iowa and they moved to Southern California where they were married April 15, 1961.
Judy was a devoted wife and mother. She was blessed with three daughters: Janel, Jeanette, and Jill. She was involved in their schooling and encouraged their participation in sports, art, and music. She always made holidays memorable with food and elaborate decorations. As her grandchildren were growing up Judi cherished family gatherings even more. Before her passing she and Jack celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary.
In January of this year, Judy suffered a broken hip. After her second surgery she struggled to regain her strength. As a result her health declined and she passed away peacefully at home in her sleep on May 23, 2022 at the age of 80.
Survived by her husband Jack, their three daughters Janel, Jeanette, and Jill, grandchildren Kelly, Patrick, Anthony, Kaylee, Carl, Dustin, step-granddaughter Megan, and siblings Rudy, Jane, Joyce, Dennis, and Dan.
