

Judy was born May 22, 1945 in National City, California and raised in Denver, Colorado. She was the daughter of Zelma Kirkland and Howard Eugene Walters, who predeceased her. Her daughter, Tamarina also passed before her. Judith passed away at Citrus Gardens Mental Health Facility in Hemet, California.
Judy is survived by her beloved husband, Del Moore, Her son, Edward Moore, grandchildren, Cassie, Russell and Grace and grandson, Ian. Sisters Debbie Sue Bender, Christina Cleveland and brother, Craig Cleveland. She had many nieces and nephew she adored.
Judy was in the Air Force and Del was in the Marines when they met, therefore. she will have a military service.
When you mention Judy’s name, you think of her laugh and beautiful smile. She was warm-hearted and put others first. She loved scrapbooking, quilting, ceramics, and photography. There are 77 photo albums in her home to record special occasions of her family and friends. Many veterans have lap quilts she made for them. As president of her quilt guild, she organized many charity quilt donations to hospitals and senior citizens homes. Del made her a ceramic workshop with two kilns, where she taught the making and painting of ceramics. Many of her family and friends are honored to still have those precious ceramics.
Judy loved working with children at the day care. She also made a home for several teens throughout the years. They are still friends today. Judy and Del worked with a Japanese exchange program for many years and kept numerous ones in their home.
Judy will be laid to rest at a graveside with military honors in Fairhaven Memorial Park in Santa Ana, California January 18, 2022 at 10:00 am.
