

Margaret Ybarra, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 16, 1927, in San Antonio, Texas, and was married to Felix Ybarra on September 20, 1947. Together, they raised four children and built a beautiful life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Margaret was a beacon of light in the lives of everyone who knew her. Her sweet nature, kind heart, and unwavering faith touched the hearts of all those around her. She was a true matriarch, and her family was her greatest joy. Margaret is survived by her children: Richard Ybarra, Ronn Ybarra, Bernice Havard, and Cynthia Martinez. She was also blessed with 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
In 1956, Margaret and Felix moved their family to Los Angeles, CA, and settled in Orange, CA, in 1962. Throughout her life, Margaret remained a steadfast presence, always putting the needs of others before her own. Despite any difficulties she faced, Margaret never complained and remained in good spirits. She was a true trooper, and her legacy of strength and resilience will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.
Margaret will be deeply missed by her family and all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her beautiful soul is resting in peace in the Loving Arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.
A graveside service for Margaret will be held Sunday, May 7, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Fairhaven Memorial Park, 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92705.
