Maria Elena Cruz

Nena was born on January 29, 1978 to Samuel and Glafira Cruz in Cypress, CA. She was a loving daughter, mother, wife, sister, and friend.

In 1991 she met Benjamin Felix and they wed in 1997 going on to have three children, Benjamin, Nathan, and Victoria Felix. Nena lived for her family, she enjoyed caring for them, cooking for them, and spending most of her free time with them.

For those who knew her, Nena was a loving wife, an amazing mother to her three children, a hard-working long-term employee of UCI for 20 years, and of course the spoiled little sister from all of her siblings. She lived life to the fullest and knew how to light up a room with her outgoing and loud self.

She is survived by her parents, Samuel and Glafira Cruz; her husband, Benjamin Felix; her children, Benny, Nathan, and Victoria Felix; and her six siblings, Raul, Alfredo, Martha, Rosa, Lydia, and Nelly.

The service will consist of immediate family and invited guests. If you are an invited guest, you will receive a personal invitation from the family.

The service, on Friday and Saturday, will be held in the large gallery and guests please park in parking lot #5.
