

Mary Ann Henry passed away peacefully at home on October 27, 2016, at the age of 88. She was born August 12, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois. The only child of Corrine and Frederick Dannenberg, Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 36 years, Merlin “Bud” Henry; three sons, Scott, Tracy and Douglas Blackford; two step sons, two stepdaughters; and five grandchildren. She graduated from Amundsen High School and received an Associate of Arts Degree from North Park University. She married Bud Henry on July 26, 1980. Between Mary Ann and Bud they have 18 grandchildren. After retiring in June of 1992 from her position as Office Manager in the Dermatology Department at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Mary Ann was very active in the Tustin Area Woman’s Club and served as President from 2001-2002. She was a dedicated volunteer at both Chapman Hospital and Ronald McDonald House. Mary Ann enjoyed traveling the world with her husband Bud and was an avid reader. She deeply loved all her family and friends and even kept in touch over the years with classmates from Chicago. A funeral will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 12:10 PM at Holy Family Cathedral in Orange, CA. Her final resting place will be Fairhaven Memorial Park Mortuary in Santa Ana.
