Melecio L. "Pancho" Diaz

Melecio "Pancho" Diaz, On September 23, 2012, our beloved Pancho was called to heaven at the age of 88.He was surrounded at home by the family he loved and who loved him dearly. Pancho was born in Santa Cruz de Las Flores, Jalisco, Mexico and moved to Santa Ana at the age of 17. He was a proud member of the Cement Masons Local 500 and retired since 1987. He spend his life building a family home and instilling the love, faith and values that will be his greatest legacy. He is preceded in life by his wife; Pime Diaz and his parents Severo and Maria Diaz. He is survived by sons; Rudy Diaz, Victor and Irma Diaz, Gabriel and Kelly Diaz, grandchildren; Victor Jr., Valerie Ann, Cristina Nicole, Michael Anthony, Cecilia Ann and great-grandchildren, Isabella Sera, James Jesus Sal, nephew; Jesus Diaz, niece; Olga Diaz, Esteban, brother Maximino and sister Eulalia and countless extended family members and friends. We love you and will forever carry you in our hearts and actions.

Vigil will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2012 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm including a Rosary at 7:00pm at MacDougall Mortuary in Santa Ana. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 5, 2012 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church - Delhi, Santa Ana, CA. Interment will immediately follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Orange, CA.
