You left this earth one year ago, dad. But you'll always be in my heart and each day I feel you close to me. Love you always.

Dearest Uncle Mike. Your smile and kindness is something I’ll always remember. I’ll cherish the memories I have with you and the conversations we shared. You weren’t only a brother to my dad, but also his closest confidant. It brought my dad, Junior, great joy to have daily conversations with you. You are loved by many and will be missed and remembered always. 

You will be missed forever and always.  The beautiful moments you shared with us, will always speak of the great person that you were.  I remember the day I took this photo; it feels like it was yesterday.  I remember your kind conversation your sweet smile and gentle laugh while you visited with your brothers; my dad (Henry) and Uncle Junior.  You will remain in my heart forever.  Rest in peace dearest Uncle Mike  

Strong and steady, you've been the best grandpa! Our family will never be the same without you.  Thank you for all your words of wisdom and encouragement. Most of all, thank you for loving me.   I love you. ❤️ I will see you again.  🕊

This was a great day! You had so much fun and it's moments like this that I will cherish forever. I'm going to miss you more than words can express.

My Uncle Mike... That's who he was to me.  He always met me and all that crossed his path with a cute little smile.
I will always remember how he kept his home and all his cars, including his work truck  so tidy and meticulous.  
I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to take a few trips with my Uncle Mike and Aunt Maggie to the central valley, specifically the Kings river and to visit his Compa, Simon.  On several occasions, my husband Dale (Uncle Mike always called him Darrell) and I visited them at their home in Kingsburg.  It was always a nice visit and they were very welcoming.  He loved showing us around his ranch and his grapes that were grown for raisins.  He and my dad, Henry talked on the phone weekly and it always gave me such happiness that they made the time for each other.  When I moved to the Sacramento area I had always wished my Uncle Mike would have visited but his traveling  days were not to be.  Lydia, Alice and families, it is my prayer for you all that you are embracing the beautiful memories you made with Mike and that God will give you comfort during  your time of sadness.  Vaya con Dios, Uncle Mike.  Until that day we reunite in Paradise.   

The best man I ever knew. My protector. My grandpa. The greatest of all time 

Thank you, Dad. I was fortunate to have you as my father and I'll cherish our many heart-to-heart discussions. You  taught me so much about things that really matter and I couldn't ask for more than that. RIP
